HEALTH CARE LIES AND ALIBIS

Just ran across a post by some person called EARPIECE who disagrees with the "health care protesters", AKA "OBAMA HATERS". You know how everyone who disagrees with a black person HATES that person if not all blacks. They STILL don't explain why BLACKS disagree with Obama. But I digress.

This poster, who has his own blog, attempts to explain why protesters are UNAMERICAN if they do not support a socialistic system of everybody looking out for everybody else. He points out that conservatives (obviously suffering under the illusion that only old, white, evil money grabbing conservatives are against being subjugated) don't complain about the "socialized" fire and police departments and that Obama can cut health care costs by saving money elswwhere such as the cancellation of the "problematic and inoperable F-22" fighter jet.

Well! I don't know about where earpiece lives, but in MY city the tax assessments made for fire,  utilities, schools, police, etc are all with the APPROVAL of the voters! There is a law on the books that the VOTERS approved in order for ANY of these things to be financed and set up by government. Th epeople can, at any time, ELIMINATE any or all of them as they choose. So much for SOCIALISM.

As for Obama's claim that he can cut fraud and waste and thus pay for reform? and cutting the F-22 and no bid contracts is part proof? Yeah, right.

The F-22 is the most advanced fighter in the world, and the only "problem" with it is that no other country has anything like it, so we are engaged in OVERKILL. We had the same "problem" when we removed GUNS from our fighters after Viet Nam and lost a gaggle of good pilots who couldn't use those fancy missiles from close range and had no gun to fight back with. Even the cost of ONE HUNDRED F-22's ($13 billion) would be a drop in the bucket compared to the $500 billion that is reported in Medicare waste and fraud.

Trust me. If Obama or ANY government official knew how to cut half a trillion dollars from ANYTHING he would tell anyone about it.  I'd like to see ANYBODY's evidence of the fed saving money on ANYTHING. Cut no-bid contrats? Not likely. That option is only allowed under law when ther are few and seldom more than one company able to perform a contract AND the matter is so urgent that the normal bid process would be counter productive. Anyway, I'd like to hear some of the no bid contracts that the government has used in the last half century. I'll bet most of them went to political friends of ALL parties.

Earpiece claims that the increased tax burden would not fall on the middle class, but offers no basis for his OPINION. He/she says he/she is a school teacher. Well, that explains why he/she can believe the government will do what it says it will do. "I am the government and I'm here to help you". And tehn we wonder why our kids lag behind the Earth in education.

As you obviously didn't know, MONEY is not the probelem with health care, it is WASTE, FRAUD, and ILLEGALS. If OBUMMER wants to fix the system, let him start with that. With the savings derived from stopping such fraud and waste We could insure all 12 million AMERICANS who have not insurance (some by their own choice) and even the 30 million illegals who get free health care today if they need it.

Veteran's benefits socialistic? Dear Mr/MS Earpiece: Veterans PAID for their health care in advance with years of SERVICE and SACRIFICE, and THEY are the only ones who get it "Free". If they don't want it, nobody is going to fine or jail them for not taking it. I suppose you think our military should be viewed as MERCENARIES?

You claim that conservatives "don't want to send their kids to schools with a lot of Blacks and Latinos". YOU GOT THAT RIGHT! I want to send MY kids to a school (public or otherwise) where I don't know and don't CARE who attends, only that they are focused on LEARNING. If it turns out that schools with lots of Latinos and Blacks are more foucsed on gang violence, revisionist teachings, free condoms and abortion counseling, then no. I DON'T want my kids to go there. The race part is only coincidental.

YOU don't mind paying more taxes so that we ca create a better health care syste? That's GREAT! Why don't you donate extra money when you file your taxes? Or give generously to the endowment fund of your local hospital? I think you are wonderful to decide for yourself where your hard earned money goes, now how about giving me that same option? I want MY hard earned money to be spent on unrelated females.

You, however, say that makes me UN-American, but it is people like YOU who would deny MY freedom to choose my own path with my money who are un-American. It is disheartening to hear a TEACHER say such a thing, as if there was only ONE way to be an American. Another nail in the coffin that contains my respect for our public school system. You want to cut costs and improve the country in one fell swoop? Close the public schools, give parents vouchers and let them find the school of their choice to send their kids.

Of course that would not only mean your union would lose big time, but a lot of kids whose parents focus more on GOLD CHAINS, drugs, big houses, boats and vacations on the Riviera than education would have their kids not go to school at all.
